My Girlfriends birthday is 2 wks after valentines day. What should I do?
Valentines and a birthday in the same month! … and I don’t even know what to get her for her birthday.
I was thinking about some flowers and a little teddy for Valentines. But then what about 2wks later??
I know that we have a test on her b-day (we’re both in the same class) and also has to study for another test the next day. –So should I do something bigger on Valentines when she will be less busy and preoccupied?? What kind of things would she like??
For Christmas I got her an amethyst ring (her birthstone) which she seems to love, but she wears it only occasionally and I don’t know why.
Shes the kind of girl who wouldn’t ever say that she didn’t like a gift.
I just want both Valentines and her B-day to be special.
We’ve been together for 4 months and were both 19 (after her B-day)

Whatever you do, don’t combine the gift. My birthday falls on Mother’s day every few years or so and I absolutely hate a combined gift.
I would say give her something thoughtful and romantic for Valentine’s day, but not necessarily expensive. Pack up a picnic lunch and take her out for a private picnic and give her one rose. You can also give her something thoughtful that you know she would like but doesn’t necessarily cost a lot, like a book by one of her favorite authors or a small box of her favorite candy. Then on her birthday you will have better options.
