In two weeks, it is May 10th. It is the anniversary of the day I first met my girlfriend. It is really a special day for me. Last year, I met a special girl and loved her at first sight on the same day. I remember that I met her in the playground in our university. At that time, I was jogging with my classmate.

Suddenly, I heard a girl’s laugh. And then I stopped and saw a beautiful girl run past me. Her laugh and smile attracted me. I felt that she should be my fate. Of course, we fell in love at last. We have been in love for nearly one year. We will have our special day and I want to give her a special present.

To tell the truth, I did not know what kind of present I should choose for her. I really wanted to give her a big surprise. So I asked some of my friends for some useful suggestions. One of them said that I could buy a beautiful dress for her. Maybe it was a good idea. However, I was afraid that the dress I would buy did not fit her. Another suggestion was that I could buy chocolate and roses. I had to admit that the suggestion was a romantic one. However, I thought that it was too common to give her surprises and excitement.

At last, I accepted a wise suggestion. I decided to buy a piece of jewelry for her. One of my friends advised me to choose a Links of London necklace.
