What are some names that make you think Water?
I am writing a story, and I need a LAST NAME for a mermaid named Aqua Sapphire. I refer to her as Aqua, but her middle name is Sapphire. She has a twin Sister names Marine Amethyst (there middle names are gems beacause thats their tail colors…… Please help me think of Aquatic Last Names……That Are creative
Hmmm…I’m never good with last names, but maybe some variation on words like “Ocean” or “Sea”?
Of course, these won’t work, but I want to give you an idea of what I mean: Oceanica, Oceania, Sealia, Seamyst (yes, totally lame…hope you get my gist here! lol). Anica might be another possiblitility, or maybe a variation on the god of the sea in your favorite genre of mythology (such as Poseidon in Greek mythology).
Sorry I can’t be of more help. I’m lousy with last names, even in human characters lately!
