How do you clean/recharge crystals?
I have recently been treated with Reiki and since it worked so well for me, I have found some gemstones and crystals of my own. I am getting mixed messages of how to clean them though. Some people say to wash them in cold water only, then others say to leave them in the moonlight. I would like to know what is the best way to “recharge” their properties.
Since the trolls love attention and felt it very necessary to express an opinion I didn’t even ask for, you obviously wanted attention/feedback. I would hate to disappoint you so here it is. Reiki has worked for me. I am a cynical person, but unlike you, I am open minded. Tried it, it worked. Simple as that. I didn’t ask your opinion of whether you approved or not. Make fun all you want but I am not the one sifting through yahoo answers clicking on questions you don’t even know the answer to, just to make snidey comments to make yourself feel smarter than you actually are.

you can cleanse crystals by holding them under running water or holding them in the sea or salt water and also by placing them in salt but you have to take care with some crystals when you are cleansing them as some are more fragile than others and certain ways of cleansing can damage them. I usually leave my crystals in moonlight or place them on top of a large piece of clear quartz that i have as clear quartz has the ability to clean other crystals.
