my 924 makes a grinding noise from the ds rear wheel ?
my 924 makes a grinding noise from the ds rear wheel when i lift my foot from the gas, not when i accelerate or brake.i just bought it and already love it. please help.
I had a 1979 924 years ago that had a similar problem after I bought it. It turned out to be the brakes. I had to rebuild one of them. It is easy to check wheel bearings though. Just jack up the car and see if there is play when you try to wiggle the wheel back and forth. It shouldn’t wiggle at all. Since you are jacking it up anyway remove the wheel and do a visual inspection of the brakes, look for broken springs. If I remember correctly my 924 had drum brakes in the rear (not sure about that though).
