Halloween is such a fun time for our family. Now that the kids are older they really enjoy the decorating as much as we do. So we let them have a say in how we get ready for our favorite Holiday.
We’ve decided that after 12 they don’t go out trick or treating, but we still want to have fun. That means we decorate the yard and house, hand out Halloween candy to the little kids and have some of their friends and parents over for a Halloween party.
Our daughters love scrapbooking and crafts so they take care of the party invitations. And they are careful to coordinate with their brother who loves coming up with Halloween scary ideas. This year he assures us the the zombie craze is still going strong and he plans to cover the front yard with many a scary halloween decoration including a sorts of bloody body parts - hands, feet, heads and even eyballs. There will be a zombie standing on both sides of the porch. Of course the family will all have our zombie masks to wear as we greet our little trick or treaters.
For inside Halloween decorations there will be all sorts of creepy green light from special bulbs and we’ve got cobwebs to frame the entrance where we keep the candy.
