Why do religious ppl need such huge Churches,Cathedrals ect to worship in.?
When God said where two or three ppl are gathered in my name there is my church.
Surley that means it is their vanity because you could worship in a field or on a hill and it is good enough for God.
Who says we need huge churches? You are quite right when you said that Jesus said ‘where two or three people are gathered there I am also’ (paraphrase). The word church means gathering of people, not a building. For this reason many Christians, including myself, worship in small groups. The group I attend meets in someones home. I also try to worship God every day, like just now when I’ve got out of bed ( I work nights) and I saw the beautiful colours of autumn against the backdrop of a perfect blue sky. I will pray that you learn the art of non – generalisation.
