What does the symbol of having two fish next to each other mean?
I have a piece of jewerly that’s jade. It’s rather big and is shaped like a oval. Inside are two fish, forming the shape of the oval. Their mouths and tails are touching each other on the top and bottom on this oval piece of jade. Both fish look like gold fish. And on a note I don’t think it has anything to do with pieces (I bought it from Hong Kong, so presumably it has a chinese meaning).
I wanted to ask the community if it has any special meaning (if any). My personal guess is that it’s something to do with a Chinese belief, but if there are other interpretations, I’m all ears. Too bad I can’t put up a picture.
it’s either Pisces or some kind of coinage for the fish market
