I do agree that Shilpa latches on to Jade for publicity. I don’t know why she had the right to comment publicly about Jades illness at all. The press managed to make her seem noble that she didn’t hold a grudge.
The fact is there was nothing to hold a grudge about anyway. Their argument on Big Brother was made to seem like racism. There was no racism involved. Shilpa came to Jade and 2 other contestants making a huge deal about how many stock cubes they had used in some spagetti sauce. Initally Jade tried to explain but Shilpa went on about it. Then Shilpa asked the others what they thought and as they sided with Jade the press decided they all must be racist. Still not good enough for Shilpa she went on and on more about it until Jade got angry and tried to put her in her place telling her she was not a big Bollywood star on Bog Brother, she was equal to everyone else and ordinary.
Jade shouted Shilpa down, rude but not racist and it was because Shilpa would not let it go until she got Jade angry. Shilpa went to argue with Jade. Jade didn’t take the argument to Shilpa.
Then when Jade gets so tragically sick the press ask Shilpa what she thinks. Who cares what Shilpa thinks. Jade and Shilpa were not friends before and are not now. What reason other than publicity could Shilpa have for visiting Jade.
She just wants a photo call for the Worlds press to say how kind she is.
And in Jades condition she should not have to put up with Shilpas self serving.
