Why isn’t may jade plant growing?
I have a single jade plant stalk planted in a clay pot. It is about 4-5 inches tall and grows straight up. I re-potted it from another pot with three that still has three stalks in it a year ago. All the plants look to be healthy, but neither pots seem to be growing at all!. I mean, they have not had a single new growth in a year. If I didn’t know better, I’d think they were fake.
The only care I give them is water, and they sit in my window sill all day receiving partial sunlight. I read that jade plants “bloom” in the Fall; I live in a small apartment with lights that shine on the plants from outside all night. Could this be bad for them? What should I do to get them growing? I really want the little guys to beef up.
Try feeding them. You can get liquid plant food for indoor plants, or spikes. I use liquid once a month (mixed in the water I give them).
