How do you get this effect in an image?

Looking at Lara jade photography, some of his works (B & W, in particular) have so striking contrast … Search HDR Almost, but not think it was possible to get a HDR image of a model? Or at least when the model is moving. I know you can increase the contrast in Photoshop, but only to some extent. How did he do? Is it light or lens or something? Another example would be: Thank http://www.flickr.com/photos/christinalouphotography/3356283259/!

Photoshop can certainly create these effects, in fact, looking at the image EXIF data if you can see who has used Photoshop CS2. HDR images can be created from PS one picture, but it is not true HDR you do not have the dynamic range as you would if you have taken multiple exposures, but the effect is still nice (if you like that sort of thing). Produce images of HDR is perfectly possible, here's another example I've seen lately (though, personally, I think is much more high HDI) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3010/2628608583_d219081b13_o.jpg + + + + EDIT: video tutorial on HDR image http://www.thedigitalphotographyconnection.com/pfdp_player.php?ID=77 simple.
