How can I configure for deer with the wind in your face, so I always travel with the wind in your face?
I'm new to deer hunting this year and my weapon of choice is my 1989 Jennings compounds. I read books, watched videos and talked to veterans, but they all seem to contradict each other, and am having a tough season so far to say the least. Any advice with what would be appreciated.
In fact, deer are not always travels with the wind in the face. They (especially deer) do not use the same paths and feeding and sleep. Why is Orientation is important for the Bowhunter. You must decide which path to be followed by the time it will be in your stand. Set off the track with the wind in your face. Thus, the deer can not smell. If the wind change, not hunt this position because they educate the deer and make it more difficult to obtain. You will not fool a deer's nose. Even with the smell of the reduction clothing, needs to see the wind. Think of it this way: A deer with three main defenses: the smell, sight and sound. We alert is usually two to three per shot "get the heck out of here" response. If a deer, but I see no smell or hear you, will try to understand what they are. Same with if you heard, but not smell or see. The exception is the nose. If you smell, go! Keep the wind in your face and set downwind of the runway and are 1 / 3 of the way of eating venison.
