What is this arthropod?
i have a specimen for a collection, but i have no idea what it is. The bottom of the body is a sucker, and the top is like a leathery kind of ‘shell’ i guess.
Any ideas, or any advice where to find an answer?

It was shallow salt water, in the magroves (brisbane, Australia).
it’s brown coloured, and has no external limbs/antennae, anything.

I think it’s probably a chiton. They have fairly flexible “shells” and are related to mollusks. Their foot is built much like a snail or slug as well, allowing them to grip tightly to rocks. There is tons of information about this critter, so hopefully this is it.
