Why do you not find ants inside the stick of an unopened lollipop?

The hollowed part of the lollipop stick is empty on one side, then the other part is connected to the sweet itself, but somehow, I’ve never seen any ants inside that lollipop stick before, trying to get to the lollipop at the other end. WHY???

Well, considering the size of the world, and the size of the lollipop stick, amount of ants and how it is kinda hard to find an entrance to place where the sweet is if the entrance is one 0.5×0.5 mm spot about 5cm away from target, and ants aint too smart either… Odds to find ants inside lollipop stick arent too high.
